The mission of the LLU Library is to provide access to and delivery of information resources to LLU students, faculty, and staff in support of the research and instructional mission of the university. The Library develops, organizes, and preserves collections for optimal use and provides links to remote information sources. The Library provides services, including instruction for information literacy and information management, to enable its users to fulfill their academic and intellectual needs.

  Welcome To Mathematics department

    There have been many changes and exciting developments in mathematics over the last century, and greater emphasis hasbeen made over new areas of mathematics as well as on the application of mathematics to an ever widening range of pursuits in many different areas such as management, economics, government organizations, computer sciences, physics, psychology, engineering and social sciences. 

Mathn Students

The department is currently offering the following programs: 
BS Mathematics atundergraduate level,M.Sc. Mathematics,MS/MPhil Mathematics in the disciplines of pure mathematics, applied mathematics, and computational mathematics. 
There are about 70 students who are pursuing their M.Phil degree. Five out of seven faculty members in the department are PhDs and remaining hold the degree of MS/MPhil. In near future, the department is also willing to adopt its PhD program.

 The Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) at Lahore LeadsUniversity has been established in line with the aims of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) to monitor and enhance academic processes, procedures and practices within academic departments by keeping view of international quality assurance developments. The QEC seeks to implement assessment procedures and measures of quality assurance in an effort to promote public confidence regarding the standards of the degrees awarded by Lahore Leads University.

QEC has undertaken the responsibility of quality assurance and enhancement with great commitment and devotion. In order to achieve the set goals of QAA for QECs set by the HEC, Program Assessments and Feedback process has been strengthened and implemented in its true spirit. QEC has been conducting various surveys at Bachelor, Master and MS/ M Phil Level Programs. The Feedback from students and faculty is subjected to statistical analysis and the key findings are provided to the concerned quarters/stakeholders for decision making regarding quality assurance of the programs. The self assessment of various programs has been completed and implementation plans of different programs have been successfully met. The self-assessment process is underway to ascertain continuous improvement of the programs. The course files auditing is carried out after each semester to underline the significance of class room teaching in a systematic manner
