Department of Mass Communication has been working vigilantly since the establishment of Lahore Leads University. The department aims to provide the country with professionally trained media persons. The offered programs are designed keeping in view to cater the needs of print & electronic media. The University has its own television channel and will start an educational FM radio station very soon. The highly equipped Audio & Video Lab not only enhances student’s skills but also provides them full practical experience. The department has also developed co-curricular & extracurricular activities for its students. Leads Media Society is one of the most active societies at Leads that organizes seminars/ workshops, field trips and entertainment activities on monthly basis. The department has also established a forum, Leads Media Observers that provides an analytical overview of ethical violations on Pakistani Media. It is the first forum of its type in Pakistan.

 Collaboration of Lahore leads University

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Lahore Leads University and Naresuan University, Thailand on Thursday, 23rd April 2015. The ceremony took place at Naresuan University,Thailand where Mr. Muhammad Salman Shabbir (Managing Director-LLU) and Prof. Dr. Sujin Jinahyon (President-NU) signed the MoU. A presentation and discussion session was also hosted by the Faculty of Sciences and Faculty of Business, Economics and Communications (BEC) for furthering and implementing the MoU on actual grounds. The MoU includes the exchange of students, faculty, research, seminars, short-term academic programs as well as Dual or Joint Degree Programs between the two universities.

Lahore Leads University feels great pleasure to inform its students that the university has initiated the ‘Students Exchange Program’ between Multimedia University, Malaysia and Lahore Leads University, Pakistan. 
Students can now apply for October 2015 intake at MMU, Malaysia in Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences and Information Technology programs at Undergraduate level.
